BOARD OF DIRECTORS
PRESIDENT - Mike Hathaway
Mike is an award-winning actor and critically-acclaimed director with over 20 years of performing arts experience in the North Texas area. He’s called ONSTAGE his home base for over five years, and is embarking on his third full term as president of the board. He previously served on the board of several non-profit organizations, from science fiction/fantasy conventions to working as the National Communications Director for The Cancer Monument in McKinney, TX.
As the theater’s Marketing Director, he works closely with ONSTAGE Artistic Director Michael B. Winters, offering assistance in crafting the quality programming the theater has become known for in the last few years.
During his term on the board, Mike has increased the draw to Bedford from well beyond the city limits all the way to Denton, Dallas, and Collin Counties, making ONSTAGE a bankable destination for the city and continued source of pride for its residents.
SECRETARY - Dorothy Dixon
Dottie was active as a volunteer at the Community Theater in Bakersfield, California
were she ran the box office, was in the chorus of such plays as Funny Girl, Two Gentlemen from Verona,
Show Boat, South Pacific, and others. She was the assistant director of several productions in the
children’s theater and worked backstage securing and setting up props.
Dottie has sung in church choirs
over the past four decades and has been a soloist for the past four years. Dottie has been an active
volunteer at ONSTAGE for the past three year and secretary of the board for the last
TREASURER - Laura Bray
Laura is a Certified Public Accountant who has more than 40 years financial management experience in the Metroplex. In addition, she has more than 20 years’ experience as a volunteer Treasurer in local non-profit organizations including PTA, Band Boosters, Football Boosters and Girl Scouts.
Laura recently retired as the Controller for 2M Research Services LLC. Previously, she worked as Controller for Signature Senior Living, LLC for over three years and as Chief Financial Officer for Claimsnet.com, Inc. for nearly eleven0 years after joining the organization as the Controller. Earlier financial experience includes Accounting Manager of Blue Wave Systems, a high-density DSP board supplier to the telecom infrastructure market, and Controller of EFS, a software sales and document management services firm. Laura began her career in the audit division of Alexander Grant & Co., followed by more than ten years as Business Manager and Controller in the radio broadcasting industry.
David is currently the Presiding Judge of County Criminal Court No. 1 in Tarrant County, Texas. Off the bench, he has been involved in community theater for over 25 years. Not only has he worked behind the scenes in such roles as Board Member for Onstage in Bedford, but he has also performed onstage in over 30 performances across the DFW metroplex. His other Arts-related volunteer work includes serving as the President of the Mid-Cities Fine Arts Foundation, and he believes community involvement, artistic expression, and volunteerism, are all excellent avenues that help young people avoid ending up as defendants in his Criminal Court.

Rose Anne Holman
Rose Anne has worked in the DFW theaters for the last 36 years. Some of her favorite roles include: Martha (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf/ONSTAGE), Ethel Banks(Barefoot in the Park/Artisan Center Theater),M’Lynn (Steel Magnolias/Runway Theatre),Henrietta Iscariot (The Last Days of Judas Iscariot/LIP Service Productions), Mrs. Jackson(Talking Pictures/Mainstage Irving Las Colinas),Mrs. Gibbs (Our Town/Stolen Shakespeare),Chris (Rumors/Garland Civic Theatre), and Miss Lynch (Grease/Firehouse Theatre). When not at the theater, she teaches middle school students.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR - Michael B. Winters
Michael has been around theatre since an early age. He has been a part of over 150 shows and events incorporating all aspects of theatre including directing, acting, writing, production, and lighting design for which he is a multi-award winner. He has traveled the country performing and teaching with theatres, schools and churches, created shows for theme parks, and has been a guest lecturer internationally.
Michael has worked with various theatres in the DFW area and in Florida. He is currently in his 5th season as the Artistic Director for ONSTAGE in Bedford and has been on staff as the Creative Director for Glenview Church where he founded Stage Right Theatre over 10 years ago.
